BetMGM Snubs Movie Invites, Enlists Chris Rock to Sell Gambling
Looks like BetMGM didn't think you'd be worth inviting to a movie premiere. Instead, they brought Chris Rock on board—not for his acting chops, but to push their gambling agenda. Rock, who was never really known for being a top-tier actor (or a great person, for that matter), is now the face of BetMGM’s latest campaign, set to air on TV, radio, and social platforms from October 17.
In a desperate attempt to market football, darts, and horse racing, the campaign titled "The Chris Rockin' Locker Room Speech" features Rock giving an impassioned speech to a group of athletes in a locker room. But don’t be fooled—it’s all about drawing attention to gambling markets, not inspiring athletes. They might say he’s the “perfect fit,” but it seems more like a ploy to sell betting rather than any sort of genuine connection.
BetMGM, which also happens to be the official betting partner of Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur (how fitting), claims this campaign will also promote responsible gambling. But with Rock at the helm, it feels more like they’re just looking to cash in on his name.

Spartan113 Informative, thanks to the author! Now I will know that this has happened. The lesson for the future is to check everything three times.

MisterM1mba One thing is clear – if the software is buggy, then it is a casino problem. Why should a player suffer?

Yukiiihira The coefficient for the passage of the Villa is almost 10! I took it purely for fun, you never know, suddenly like Barca once.

o0oSoyao0o Well, soon there will be not only skyscrapers in Dubai, but also Book of Ra slot machines.

Smoolbeansam Do I think it's getting harder and harder to understand the rules in these new slots? It used to be simple - you spin the reels and look at the lines. And now there are some pedestals, cascades, respins... I'm completely confused! And what is volatility? Can anyone explain it in simple terms?

Chris Rock pushing gambling ads now? BetMGM must be really scraping the barrel for promotion ideas.
They’ve got Rock giving motivational speeches to athletes, but all they really care about is selling gambling. Kind of a lame way to use his talent.
So, no movies for Chris Rock—just selling more bets to sports fans. What a great way to use that star power... not.
Wow, so BetMGM couldn’t find anyone better than Chris Rock to advertise gambling? Guess they figured an average actor would do for an average campaign.
