I've visited a lot of casinos in other nations. This was the most peculiar. It's challenging to exit, which I assume is on purpose. I couldn't recall which floor of the garage I was on. asked at the "information" counter.
That was okay, but not enough to entice me to return. Few people find the environment dull. Not a lot of options for 25 cents. While there is a staffing shortage everywhere, we understood why the restaurant upstairs was closed, but a modest bistro serving light fare may have been good.
We played a few slots; the first night, $20 per person bought us almost an hour of play, which I thought was very good. But, I lost $20 in roughly 15 minutes the following night. I also play carefully. We don't play the slots too often, but we enjoy it when a $20 note buys us an hour of play time. won't go beyond that in a single transaction.
Nice friendly staff, security greets you when you enter which was nice. Good menu in their restaurant, large selection of cars, mini golf and bowling - good to play with grandchildren.
Great place for horse racing and good casino. A lot of cars. and the food in the restaurant is fantastic. Will definitely come back.

The history of Century Casinos comes from Austria in 1992. By 1993, the group has purchased several casinos in the United States including a riverboat casino St. Charles Parish in Louisiana. However, the officials of Louisiana did not permit the casino any operation on their grounds. In 1995, the casino was bought by a new group for $4 million dollars, and the project moved to the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles. The interest in Canada appeared in 2010, where the Century group bought Silver Dollar Casino in Calgary and invested $10.5 million dollars. The company developed and invested into Century Downs Racetrack and Casino near Calgary city. The casino opened eventually in 2016. In October, the Apex Casino was renamed into Century Casino St. Albert.
