Located in the historic gold rush town of Dawson City, Diamond Tooth Gertie's Gaming Hall is far more than a traditional casino. It is an iconic Northern Canadian entertainment venue that blends vintage charm, games of chance, live music, and unforgettable stage performances under one roof.
Known for its welcoming atmosphere and unique Klondike-era theme, Gerties offers visitors a nostalgic gaming experience paired with professional shows, friendly dealers, and an energetic crowd. Whether you come for blackjack tables, roulette spins, or the famous CanCan performances, this venue delivers a complete night out unlike anywhere else in Canada.
Blackjack
Blackjack at Diamond Tooth Gertie's is designed to appeal to both casual players and seasoned card enthusiasts. The tables are staffed by friendly, professional dealers who keep the pace engaging while maintaining clear and fair gameplay. Players can enjoy traditional blackjack rules, aiming to get as close to 21 as possible without busting.
Low minimum bets make blackjack accessible to newcomers, while multiple tables ensure availability even during busy evenings. The relaxed atmosphere allows players to enjoy the game without pressure, making it an excellent introduction to table games for first-time visitors.
Roulette
Roulette at Gerties delivers classic casino excitement with every spin of the wheel. Players can place a wide range of inside and outside bets, offering both high-risk and conservative betting strategies. The suspense builds with every roll, creating an energetic crowd atmosphere around the table.
This game is especially popular among groups and spectators, as the visual nature of roulette makes it easy to follow and enjoy - even for those not actively betting.
Red Dog
Red Dog is a fast-paced card game that offers simple rules and quick outcomes. Players bet on whether the value of a third card will fall between two others, making it an exciting option for those who enjoy rapid gameplay.
At Diamond Tooth Gertie's, Red Dog is ideal for players looking for something different from traditional blackjack or poker-style games while still enjoying a social, table-based experience.
Money Wheel
The Money Wheel is one of the most approachable games of chance at Gerties. Players place bets on numbers or symbols and watch as the large wheel spins toward a potential payout. Its simplicity makes it especially appealing to beginners.
This game creates a lively group atmosphere, with cheers erupting whenever the wheel lands on a winning segment.
Poker
Poker tables at Diamond Tooth Gertie's attract players who enjoy strategic thinking combined with social interaction. Whether you're an experienced poker player or simply curious to try, the environment is welcoming and well-managed.
The poker area encourages friendly competition while maintaining a relaxed pace, making it a great spot to settle in for extended play.
Slots
While Diamond Tooth Gertie's focuses heavily on live table games, slot machines round out the gaming floor for those who prefer quick, solo-style entertainment. The machines are easy to use and ideal for casual play between shows or table sessions.
CanCan Show & Live Entertainment
The legendary CanCan Show is the heart and soul of Diamond Tooth Gertie's. Featuring Diamond Tooth Gertie herself alongside the dazzling Gold Rush Girls, these performances bring high-energy choreography, colourful costumes, and powerful vocals to the stage.
With three different shows per night, guests can enjoy a full evening of entertainment. Professional singers, dancers, and live musicians deliver Klondike-themed performances filled with humour, charm, and crowd interaction. The shows alone are worth the visit, even before factoring in the gaming.

- It is based on a real on-site visit, with floor, table, racing and dining notes taken at the venue rather than copied from a press release.
- Every time-sensitive fact is dated, because casino hours, live-table days, dining and harness-racing schedules change by season.
- It is independent, we are not the operator and entries here are not paid placements.
- Safety notes stay conservative, covering Ontario’s 19+ rules, the venue’s licensed status and responsible-gambling support.

Yes, many visitors come purely for the shows and atmosphere.
Generous portions, reasonable prices, and satisfying food. The place was clean, and overall it was a good dining experience.
Friendly staff but the food quality was very poor, especially considering the price. Not a good lunch experience.
A reliable spot with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and consistently good food. The remodel didn’t take away from its charm.
It’s not relaxing whatsoever.
The vibe here is honestly depressing. Too many people chasing losses late at night. Not something I want to be around.
Much more so if you take the cabin from Sommet des Neiges, the location is just breathtaking. But, keep an eye on the opening times because this casino isn't always open or open 24 hours a day like all casinos should. I believe this location has a lot of potential but is terribly run.
For the past five years, the quality and price of the food have declined, and are now simply out of control. For gamers, the gaming aspect has gone incredibly bad. Nowadays, it's a miracle if $100 can be used for an hour of gaming. The monthly promotions have drastically decreased from 75,000–100,000 to less than 15,000, and the payments are substantially lower. Like myself, a great deal of regulars have had enough.
