Regina Citizen hit the $70 million Lotto Max jackpot
Canada Lottery Corporation has announced the winning of the $70 million jackpot by a man from Saskatchewan. Dale McEwen who is a lucky winner, was driving through the province and bought the ticket on his way to the ski trip in B.C.
"Dad and I couldn't believe it," Lauzon was quoted as saying by the website of British Columbia's weekly Alaska Highway News. The lucky numbers were 7, 10, 18, 29, 38, 43, and 50, and were selected via Quick Pick.
The winner bought a Lotto Max lottery ticket at a pharmacy in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, and found out about her victory through the smartphone lottery application - BCLC (British Columbia Lottery Corporation).
His winnings of $70 million were the largest in British Columbia Lotto Max history.
Lauzon said that she would first share the winnings with her relatives, and then discuss options for where to spend the money with her financial adviser.
Recall that recently a Lotto Powerball user hit the $42 million jackpot, which became the second largest win in the history of New Zealand.
The biggest Lotto New Zealand jackpot was drawn in November 2016, and it was taken by a young guy from Auckland.
