Stay Casino deposit mismatch - no refund yet

Be very careful if you deposit. Normally casinos online are supposed to reject deposits where the amount you requested to deposit on the casino is different than the amount you actually sent the casino through Interac or other transfer. In my case I deposited a large amount, but it never showed up in my account and my transaction history show there was such a mismatch. However I verified through Gigadat that the deposit was accepted even thought it was a mismatch. The amount never appeared in my account. I got a list of my accepted deposits and that particular deposit never appeared there. It sounds like they intend to wire back the missing deposit amount to me because they asked for my account info for wire transfers so we’ll see but it’s still a pain and it’s been several weeks. It’s possible that it could be buggy software that did this, if so they really need to fix that and I really would like my money back.
Another thing to add to this is, I did close my account due to responsible gambling, but they still should refund my money. Hopefully that’s not causing the delay.

Hello! We will try to write to them and clarify the reasons for the delay. Please provide the details you used to register your account. It would also be great if you could attach a statement showing how much you sent and screenshots showing how much was credited, so that we have proof.

Another thing to add to this is, I did close my account due to responsible gambling, but they still should refund my money. Hopefully that’s not causing the delay.

Thanks Mike. Update: I received an email from support saying they processed my refund and wire transfer should be on its way on my way to my account in a few days. Once received I’ll update this and this one can be closed. The last several days I just received too many generic answers from support but it looks like they’ve acted on it. :f09f918d:
