Swintt aquires Ontario License
Slot software provider Swintt has officially launched its operations in Ontario after obtaining a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to supply games in the province.
This marks Swintt's inaugural entry into the regulated North American market. Previously, the company had focused its efforts on Europe, operating in 10 countries, including Malta, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Swintt boasts a diverse content library that spans multiple verticals, including table games, book games, live casino, and slots.
With this new launch, Ontario players now have access to Swintt's full suite of games, including the popular Aloha Spirit XtraLock. The company plans to release more titles in the coming weeks, with Law of Gilgamesh expected to debut on May 30.
Additionally, Swintt will offer games from Elysium Studios, which it acquired earlier this year. The first game from this collaboration, Tipsy Charms, is already live in Swintt's markets.
Swintt Aims to Make an Impact in Ontario and Beyond
Swintt's CEO, David Mann, expressed enthusiasm about the brand's potential impact in Ontario.
"Swintt is delighted to have received AGCO approval for its games in Ontario, and we’re very excited to now have the chance to take this new and dynamic market by storm," Mann said in a release. "Being certified to launch in Ontario is definitely a huge step for the company that will enable us to showcase our brand to new audiences on the global stage."
Entering the Ontario market could serve as a gateway for Swintt to expand into more North American jurisdictions, including the United States.
"Swintt is excited about entering the regulated Canadian market for the first time, and the company has high hopes that the approval will further underline its credentials as a leading global provider," the company stated.
Swintt's Strong Presence in the German Market
Swintt has established a significant presence in the German market, where it is known for its commitment to fair play. The company has built a reputation for not reducing the Return to Player (RTP) rates in its games, ensuring players enjoy a transparent and rewarding gaming experience. As Swintt expands into new territories like Ontario, it brings this same level of integrity and player-centric focus, promising an exciting and fair gaming landscape for its new audience.
JamesTheSpirited It's frustrating to see my state lose out on potential tax revenue because lawmakers are dragging their feet on legalizing sports betting. If other states can do it successfully, why can’t we?
ChristopherTheRadiant This is a huge step for Yggdrasil! Their games are always top-notch, and I can’t wait to see how they perform in the North American market. Hopefully, this means more exciting titles coming our way soon.
ElizabethTheWhimsical The proposed online casino license feels like a cash grab with those high fees and low RTP for slots. If I’m going to take a gamble, I’d rather do it in a crypto casino where the odds are better.
RonaldTheVibrant If Kick buys TikTok, it’s going to be a disaster for younger users. The last thing kids need is to be exposed to crypto gambling ads disguised as entertainment. We need stricter regulations on these platforms.
LauraTheMysterious It’s good to see brands like Stake.com expanding in Latin America, but I’m concerned about the growing trend of underage viewers tuning in to these stake game streams. We need stricter regulations to protect kids from getting exposed to gambling content.
KarenTheOptimistic I've been playing for a week now, and I'm especially pleased with the mechanics with dragons. True, my RTP seems to be lower, but it still flies normally
LisaTheResilient Yeah, screw this NO Limit city ... I've been riding for 3 months - nothing worthwhile has ever happened
markcampbell4r This sounds like a PR stunt more than an actual initiative to reward genuine streamers. With the history of manipulated outcomes in advertising, it's hard to trust the authenticity of these so-called 'max wins.' Are we really celebrating skill or just orchestrated hype?
AllenLaura1 This partnership sounds like a game-changer! GGPoker and Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto teaming up is huge news for poker enthusiasts in Ontario. Can't wait to see the upgraded poker room and experience those WSOP tournaments!
NancyTheHarmonious This fine serves as a strong reminder that operators must prioritize social responsibility and anti-money laundering measures. It's good to see the Gambling Commission taking action to protect players and uphold industry standards.
MartinezBetty Consider elaborating on what specific types of "enhanced gaming experiences" might be envisioned to give readers a clearer picture of the possibilities.
lisajohnson0h Haters can go to hell
SusanTheUnique Play'n GO keeps expanding, but it seems like their focus is more on growth than providing fair gameplay. With RTPs this low, it's hard to see how anyone can actually win. I’ll be staying away from these games in Michigan!
ChristopherTheXtraordinary It's worrying to think that Denmark’s gaming streamers could shift towards promoting casinos, especially with younger audiences in mind. Gambling content has no place in platforms where minors are involved.
I’ve been a fan of Swintt’s slots for a while now. Their fair RTP rates make a big difference. Great to hear they’re expanding to Ontario – can’t wait to see what they bring to the table next!
Excited to see Swintt entering the North American market! Their diverse game library and transparent practices have always impressed me. Ontario is lucky to have them!
As a German player, I can attest to Swintt's commitment to fair play. It's refreshing to see a provider that doesn't reduce RTP rates. Ontario players are in for a treat with Swintt's games.
Swintt's expansion into the Ontario market is great news! I've always enjoyed their games in Europe, especially knowing they don't mess with the RTP rates. Looking forward to trying out their new releases here!
