History
Casino Moose Jaw was developed as part of the city’s broader downtown revitalization efforts. Construction began in 2001 with an investment of approximately $13 million, and the casino officially opened its doors to the public on September 6, 2002. From the beginning, the venue was designed to reflect Moose Jaw’s historic connection to the 1920s, which is why its distinctive Art Deco architecture plays such a central role in its identity.
Since opening, the casino has become a key entertainment hub in the city, contributing to local tourism and economic growth. Over the years, Casino Moose Jaw has expanded its gaming floor, upgraded slot offerings, and strengthened its ties with the neighbouring Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa, creating a combined destination that blends gaming, wellness, dining, and cultural attractions under one roof.

Casino Moose Jaw feels manipulative.
I’ve never had a good time here.
The antiquated machines offer no motivation to play. We all know that you play for fun, but NO ONE was successful! There is little atmosphere, the casino closes early on Thursdays, and the hotel bus service only runs until 5:00 p.m.
The motel may best be described as average. The size and amenities of the rooms are mediocre. The absence of a microwave or tiny fridge is a drawback. While we were leaving, I noticed that the housekeeping staff was washing and disinfecting the carpet, which I thought was a terrific idea.
Only available until 8 p.m., the buffet featured a little selection. Do not have the table if you are not going to offer poker. Staff at the restaurant and the guest service were both unfriendly and ineffective.
