The casino's old interior design gave off a schizophrenic feeling, and there was no clear general theme or concept. Compulsive slot machine gamers were also monopolising entire rows of machines. To be honest, that turned me off. Excellent service is about all I can say.
We've visited a number of casinos over the years, and we've discovered that the Dene Casino is particularly stingy with their slot machine selection. One receives bonuses infrequently, and when they do, you hardly ever win anything. At both of these locations, your money is lost relatively quickly.
Machine payouts are horrendous. Even though I never truly expect to win at slots, I no longer find the game to be even remotely entertaining. Now, I lose quickly 10 to 15 times in a row. For many years, this was a respectable casino, but that was a long time ago.
If you intend to go several days, it's worth making the points card to accumulate points and receive discounts or credits for playing. Just submit a document to Guest Relations. Downside: the day I went, I was instructed to stop the car at the back of the parking lot. Had to walk a 2 parking lots to get to the bus stop. The return was worse because it was raining and I had to run in the rain, from the point to the car. Arriving soaked. Other than that, it was good fun.
Super modern and very big casino. There are games for all tastes, such as slot machines, roulette, poker, etc. There are also some restaurants, spaces for shows. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Admission is free, as are soft drinks and coffees. In my case, I spent only a few dollars that I set aside for this, which I lost in moments. But it was worth watching the musical show.

When first opened in 2009, September 27, there was an exciting entertainment offered in the city. A lot of tourists and locals were attracted to the Lakeland region. First of all, the Casino began to function under Denesuline (Chipewyan) Tribe of Cold Lake First Nations. There was a need to give the region a long-needed economical development. This, in its turn, gained a support of Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission. Dene Casino is situated in the reserve lands of Cold Lake First Nations. It lies 7 km south of the City of Cold Lake, and just 300 km from Edmonton.
