McPhillips Station Casino is one of Winnipeg's two main land-based casinos, alongside Club Regent Casino. Located in the heart of Manitoba's capital, this casino has been a staple of the local entertainment scene since 1993.
Owned and operated by the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation, McPhillips Station Casino delivers a full-scale gaming experience with a strong focus on slot play, accessible table games, and casual dining. Its central location and wide game variety make it a popular destination for both locals and visiting players.
Slots
McPhillips Station Casino boasts approximately 1,200 slot machines, making it one of the largest slot floors in Manitoba. The selection includes classic reel slots, modern video slots, and progressive jackpot machines such as the $1 million Powerbucks progressive.
Popular game themes include Cats, Dancing Drums, 88 Fortunes, Wheel of Fortune, Lightning Link, Ultimate Fire Link, Buffalo Series, and American Original. The casino regularly introduces new titles to keep the gaming floor fresh and engaging.
Betting limits are highly flexible, starting from $0.01 up to $100 per spin, with multi-denomination machines available for players who enjoy adjusting their wagering strategy.
Table Games
The table games area at McPhillips Station Casino offers a well-rounded mix of popular favourites. Players can enjoy Blackjack, Roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Poker, all hosted in a friendly and relaxed environment.
While the casino does not focus on high-limit exclusivity, the tables are well suited for both newcomers and experienced players looking for steady gameplay without overwhelming crowds.
Promotions
McPhillips Station Casino runs frequent promotions designed to reward regular play and enhance guest value. These include random prize drawings, themed giveaways, and seasonal events.
Club Card members benefit from discounts of up to 30%, as well as access to special promotions such as merchandise draws, including summer-themed prizes like Weber BBQ grills, sponsored by Luxe BBQ. Promotions rotate regularly to keep the experience dynamic.
Dining
Dining is available at LOFT 180 presented by Coors, located on the casino’s second level. This sit-down restaurant offers a diverse menu ranging from casual finger foods to hearty sandwiches and full entrées.
For guests who prefer something quick, the Snacks & Drinks outlet on the main level - near the Bingo area - offers takeaway options and beverages, making it easy to refuel without leaving the gaming floor.
McPhillips Station Casino delivers a solid, full-scale gaming experience with an extensive slot selection, approachable table games, and consistent promotions. Paired with quality dining and a range of nearby hotels, it remains one of Winnipeg’s most reliable entertainment destinations.

I wouldn’t recommend it.
The place smells like smoke and desperation. McPhillips Station Casino really needs an overhaul.
No matter what day or hour you visit a casino, it never pays. You seldom ever make money there, so don't expect to.
We came, but we didn't stay long. There weren't many penny machines, and the ones that were available cost money to play.
Even though I went during a busy time, the 19-minute wait for a table seemed excessive. Although the server was pleasant, my steak and eggs were undercooked and chilly. He didn't once ask how I was doing or if I needed a refill. The excitement and wait were not at all worthwhile.
