The mechanics of PopWins are really quite easy to understand when you get into gameplay, although it might seem a little daunting when reading about it.
The first thing to know about this game is that you win by rolling at least 3 adjacent identical symbols, starting from reel 1 or reel 5. This is due to the mechanics of winning both ways, and it actually doubles the number of ways to win by default from 243 to 486.
You will find the paytable in the menu at the bottom right corner, and there are only 13 characters. All premiums are classic fruit machine symbols, and cherries are naturally the most valuable of them all. Win 5 of these juicy toys and you will win 15 times your stake. The difference is that the default reel setup here is expanded to a 5x6 grid, and the PopWins feature can expand each line up to 9 characters high.
If you manage to expand all 5 rows to the maximum height, the progressive multiplier increases by +3. Moreover, each new PopWin on a fully expanded set of reels increases the win multiplier by +4, not +1. You are currently playing with 59,049 ways to win, but in reality, it is twice as much due to the possibility of winning in both directions. On non-winning spins, the reels are thrown to the height of the shortest row, and not completely.
