Le Bunny

This is very much another entry in the ever-expanding “Le” universe, and I immediately recognised it as a reskin of Le King, just dressed up in Easter colours instead of neon Vegas lights.

That said, Hacksaw didn’t go for a simple pastel makeover. Le Bunny throws together Easter imagery, springtime vibes, and - rather oddly - a witchy, Halloween-like bonus round. I found the theme a little confused: bunnies, chicks, and sweets in the base game, then skulls, cauldrons, and dripping hats during free spins. Smokey himself skulks around the screen in a rabbit outfit, looking as grumpy as ever. It’s strange, slightly messy, but also very on-brand for this series.

Le Bunny uses a 6x5 grid with cluster pays mechanics. Wins are formed when 5 or more matching symbols connect anywhere on the reels. Once a win lands, the symbols involved disappear, new symbols drop down, and cascades can trigger additional payouts.

The s.lot feels medium volatility, which I found fairly balanced overall. Bets range from $/CA$0.10 to CA$50, and the RTP sits at 96.14% on the highest setting, which is solid by modern standards.

Low-paying symbols are the 10–A card ranks, styled with a cracked eggshell look. These pay 0.5x to 1x the stake for clusters of 12 or more. Higher-paying symbols include flowers, sweets, chickens, chicks, and bunnies, paying anywhere from 3x up to 25x for 12+ symbols. Wilds substitute for all symbols on the grid.

Golden Squares

Golden Squares are at the heart of Le Bunny, and if you’ve played other “Le” titles, this will feel very familiar. After a winning cluster, the positions behind the symbols turn into Golden Squares. If a Rainbow symbol appears, those Golden Squares activate and reveal special symbols.

Possible reveals include:

• Coins (Bronze, Silver, Gold) with values from 0.2x up to 500x
• Green and Gold Clovers, which apply multipliers from x2 to x20
• Baskets, which collect and store values
• Jackpot Eggs, which can trigger jackpots

Once Baskets resolve, remaining Golden Squares activate again, and the process repeats. I’ve always liked this mechanic - it can snowball fast when things line up.

Jackpots

Jackpot Eggs can land directly on the reels or be revealed via Golden Squares. Depending on the egg, you can win:

• Mini – 10x
• Major – 100x
• Mega – 1,000x
• Max Win – 20,000x

Some jackpots require a Rainbow symbol to activate, while others trigger instantly when revealed.

Le Bunny has three different free spin modes, depending on how many scatters you land:
