The setting is unmistakably Nordic. In the base game, players spin amid icy waters, snow-laden trees, and a cold, muted colour palette. When bonus features activate, the atmosphere improves significantly, shifting to a dramatic mountain backdrop illuminated by the aurora borealis.

Visually, the game has received a noticeable polish compared to the original. Animations are smoother, symbols are sharper, and lighting effects are more dynamic. Still, the core aesthetic is so faithful to the original that longtime players may feel a strong sense of déjà vu. It looks better - but not radically different.
