Asmongold switched to Kick, but promised not to stream the casino
The well-known streamer Asmongold officially started cooperation with the Kick platform, but he was quick to reassure his audience: there will be no gambling and casinos on his streams. The statement was made against the backdrop of heated discussions about the ethics of Kick — after all, the platform is actively associated with gambling content, slot streams, and betting.
Asmongold stressed that it is "not about this" and will continue to make the same content for which it is loved - conversational streams, news discussions, games and reactions. However, the very fact of the transition raised questions — after all, Kick offers generous conditions, especially for large influencers, and no one goes there for nothing.
Who is Asmongold?
Asmongold is one of the most recognizable streamers on Twitch over the past 10 years. His real name is Zach. He became famous for his World of Warcraft streams, and then expanded the format to reactions to YouTube dramas, reviews, industry analysts, etc.
He has more than 3.6 million followers on Twitch, hundreds of thousands of viewers on YouTube, and a huge fan base on social networks. He is considered one of the few "independent" streamers who can afford to criticize large corporations, platforms, and even Twitch itself.
"I will not stream the casino" - you have already heard
Almost every influencer who comes to Kick starts with this phrase. But history repeats itself: in a month or two, "sponsors", sudden drifts, promo codes, advertising of casino sites, sports betting, and so on appear. This was the case with many other streamers, from former poker players to ex-Twitch partners.
But even if Asmongold really does not start advertising gambling, his move still plays into the hands of Kick. After all, he brought his giant audience there, which will now regularly visit the platform.
And then everything is simple: on the main page — in the "recommended" or "nearby" — streams begin with slots, roulette, bets, and other bait. And some of the viewers will definitely click. By bringing people to such a platform, Asmongold — albeit indirectly — makes it more legitimate and helps the gambling industry get new blood.

OlakTHEPolak As for me, it's high time. The Internet is polluted with these gray sites. I don't want my kids to stumble upon casinos on TikTok!

SYLversters Oh may, does it all really work? I thought those 5 scatters were like seeing the Loch Ness Monster on stream

YellowPikmin Yes, I remember the Avengers slot... I caught such drifts there. I still regret that I did not take a screenshot, now you can't prove it.

AccurateShark28 And I bet on six different WTA matches – I won $180 with $10. But there are few days like this :)

thekidgamer52 PSG are really like a tank now. But finals are always nerves. Too often, the favorites fly from the "outsiders". I would take Inter with a handicap, the odds are good, the risk is justified.

Are you still surprised? They all say so. Then they spin quietly with fakes in the corner.
