How CS2 cases lit up the market in July: what you should know about Fracture Case, AWP | Printstream, and skin prices
In July, interest in cases in Counter-Strike 2 shot through the roof again — players opened more than 35.6 million cases in a month. That’s yet another reminder: despite a steady market and no new case drops, the thrill of the chase and the urge to pull rare skins isn’t going anywhere.
The absolute leader was Fracture Case, opened over 11 million times. The main reason for the hype is simple: it contains AWP | Printstream — one of the most coveted skins in the game. Its rarity, black‑and‑white minimalist look with pearlescent lettering, and high price on the marketplace make this case a real magnet for drop hunters.
Second place — Revolution Case. It doesn’t have a single flagship on the level of Fracture, but the skin pool is still stacked. Many are chasing M4A4 | Temukau, AK‑47 | Head Shot, and other fresh skins from this lineup. This case has held a top spot since release and clearly isn’t planning to fall off.
Rounding out the top three is Dreams & Nightmares Case — a case with instantly recognizable visuals and a big roster of bright, even “neon” skins. There’s AK‑47 | Nightwish, MP9 | Starlight Protector, and plenty of other guns with original designs. Millions keep opening it because the odds of a solid drop feel very real — especially considering the case’s low price on the market.
