In Las Vegas, a loophole with poker chips has been closed - what to do now?
If you love poker in Las Vegas, be prepared for a new addition. Since mid-July, large casinos where poker is played have introduced a rule: now you can exchange poker chips only where you won them. It used to be easier - you brought it from MGM Grand and calmly exchanged it at Wynn or another casino. Now there is no such freedom.
Why did they do this? It's simple - to prevent scammers from hiding money. As Casino Nieuws explains, by moving large amounts of chips from casino to casino, it was possible to hide where the money came from and circumvent the laws. Therefore, poker halls themselves decided to close this "cunning" way.
It is important that the ban applies only to poker chips. If you play blackjack or roulette, chips can still be swapped between casinos without any problems. So far, the rule applies only in Las Vegas - there are about 10 active poker rooms, including such legendary places as Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Venetian.
What does this mean for players? If you win at poker, you need to cash out exactly where you played. You won't be able to just go to a nearby casino. This, of course, is a little inconvenient, but, on the other hand, now there is less chance of encountering fraud, which means that the atmosphere will become more honest and transparent.

celese Haha, classic! First they screwed over the players, then the license turned out to be fake, and now they’re trying to undo everything. A total circus. Yeah, everything will just get bought. They’ll pay whoever they need in Curaçao and get a new license. Money rules everything, especially in this industry.

Mangarin4ik The section about how casinos fire VPNs is a gun. I've never thought about WebRTC and the time zone. Author, thank you, you may have just saved my next deposit.

It's a pity that the rule is only in Vegas so far, otherwise it wouldn't hurt in other cities either.
That's all right
It's good that they didn't touch blackjack, because it's already fun with the exchange.
Strange, but understandable
yes, usually people come out of there without chips xD
