India Explores Online Betting and Gambling Regulations
The Indian government is considering a new law to regulate online gaming, betting, and lotteries, following concerns over user safety and financial exploitation. A high-level meeting led by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) discussed the need for stricter regulations, with a report being compiled by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).
The government is focusing on issues such as data security, the rapid growth of online gaming, and the potential manipulation of game results. Stricter oversight may also include holding celebrities accountable for endorsing gambling platforms, as well as addressing financial risks like money laundering through small payment gateway transfers.
India is taking steps to improve consumer protection, including better safeguards against misleading ads and stronger grievance redressal systems. However, as the regulatory framework takes shape, we hope Indian authorities will ensure that the RTP (Return to Player) for online gambling platforms is set at a minimum of 95%, rather than undermining players' chances with excessively low limits.

ravenmilkers If Black Cube is really just an operator, then who spent money on such a large-scale operation? It doesn't cost 5 kopecks.

BatBulo4ka 5 thousand a day - well, this is no longer a player, but some kind of investor. It is quite reasonable to limit it.

CertifiedNiggur And then they wonder why the players are paranoid... Even dealers can no longer be trusted.

ImBrainless Damn, how sick these casinos are with their blocks! I had a situation in the pin-up, just when a big win was shining - 8k. And what do you think? They blocked the under the pretext of "suspicious activity". Two months of correspondence, and only after threatening to write to the regulator, the money was returned. Now I check 100 times where I go. Thank you for the article, a relevant topic!

Regulating online gambling is definitely needed, but we don’t want authorities underestimating the RTP and giving players fewer chances to win. A solid minimum of 95% is what I’m hoping for!
I’m glad to see the government is taking action to protect players, but we need to ensure that the RTP doesn’t become too low. A fair RTP like 95% would help keep things competitive and safe for everyone.
While regulation is necessary, I think it’s important to remember that RTP should be at a level that doesn’t make the games feel like a total loss. 95% minimum sounds fair to me. Let’s hope they get it right!
It’s nice that the government is addressing concerns about fraud and data security, but the RTP issue could be a problem if they don’t set a fair standard. Players deserve a better chance to win!
I’m all for regulation, but I really hope they don’t make things worse by limiting RTP. If they want to protect consumers, they should be making the games more fair, not less. 95% RTP sounds like a good starting point.
