New Zealand influencers refused to advertise casinos - the authorities are acting harshly and to the point
A serious campaign against illegal advertising of online gambling is unfolding in New Zealand. The authorities managed to ensure that three popular influencers at once - Te Rauhiroa Bosch, Paaka Davis and Makaya Carr - publicly announced their refusal to partner with foreign casinos. In total, their audience exceeds 800,000 people, so the gesture has weight.
Against the backdrop of the efforts of the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), which has begun to clean up social networks from illegal gambling advertising, the situation is changing noticeably. Eight influencers have already received official letters demanding that they delete posts and stop cooperating. Another 26 are under surveillance. Violations can cost content creators up to NZ$10,000 per post.
Most reacted quickly and cleaned up their accounts. But the two still ignore the warnings and may soon receive official notices of a violation of the law.
What is important is that the approach of the authorities works. According to representatives of the DIA, after the start of the campaign, the number of new violations has significantly decreased. It is clear that influencers have become more cautious, and public attention has played a role.
This is, without exaggeration, the right and mature approach. Those who are really interested in gambling will still find the right sites. But casual viewers, especially young ones, should not be targeted by casino marketing. It would be great if other countries began to follow the example of New Zealand – less advertising, less involvement, fewer problems.

tickscollar All this bullshit was invented to squeeze out the last money. It used to be easier - bet on red, win or lose. And now some chickens are running, airplanes are flying... Circus.

xSuiZ The article is fire! Everything was laid out according to the facts. Drake is not a ludomaniac, he is a walking advertisement. And while the suckers believe in his "curse", Stake rakes in the money. Beautiful, you can't say anything. I've been riding a steak myself for a year now, I threw in crypto and generally don't give a about all the blocking.

Leoak Finally a good article on NC! I've been playing them since the very beginning, since the first Deadwood. Yes, their dispersion is crazy, you can lose a deposit in 100 spins. But when he pours ... It's worth it. In Mental x15k I caught, I still remember this spin. The whole point is in their x-mechanics, they really change the game, and not just for show.

tealblossom 2 minutes to respond? Yes, this is a dream! Otherwise, while you wait for these operators, you will already want to play. It's high time!

2sMilkiMiDiosa FIRE IN THE HOLE 3!! SCAM FROM NOLIMIT! HIT 2K, SPIN $10, NOT A SINGLE, BONUS!! HE JUST EATS AND DOES NOT CHOKE! I'LL NEVER GET INTO THAT SHIT AGAIN!

Check the RTP, guys. I played on some no-name - it turned out to be 94%. I went out right away.
Whoever plays will find a casino anyway. But children and addicts are the ones who suffer from advertising.
yes, "refused". Until they threatened with fines. All for the sake of money.
If only our countries would start punishing for this. Otherwise, we have the opposite - everything is littered with "bonuses by link in the bio".
Fines would be higher. Well, really. Until they start taking away cars and iPhones, it won't work.
Respect to New Zealand. At least somewhere they turned on the head.
