Videoslots Casino Punished With 12 Million Crowns For Weak Player Protection
Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen has issued an official warning to Videoslots Casino and fined it 12 million Swedish kronor (approximately €1.095 million) for violating rules to ensure the safety of players.
The audit, conducted in 2024, aimed to assess how Videoslots complies with its commitment to customer care. The agency studied the operator's internal instructions and the behavior of a number of players to understand how effectively the casino prevents the development of problem gambling.
Videoslots has provided its data and reports on the measures taken. However, according to the regulator, the implemented procedures did not correspond to the level of necessary protection. Spelinspektionen found the operator's approach too passive: the casino did not intervene quickly and decisively enough, even when players showed obvious signs of gambling addiction.
In response, Videoslots stated that it complied with the requirements of the law, and the lack of clear rules and instructions prevented the development of stricter protection measures. However, Spelinspektionen noted the systematic miscalculations and qualified the violations as serious – so serious that, in theory, it could even lead to the revocation of the license.
As a result, the regulator limited itself to a warning and imposed a fine of 12 million Swedish kronor, stressing the need for casinos to urgently review their customer protection policy.

ravenmilkers If Black Cube is really just an operator, then who spent money on such a large-scale operation? It doesn't cost 5 kopecks.

Softer at first, then harder... As always. It was necessary to revoke the license immediately!
