xQc showed $3 billion in turnover in Stake - an accident or a tricky PR?
During one of the recent broadcasts, the popular Canadian streamer xQc (Felix Langel) unwittingly (or quite intentionally) showed shocking statistics of his activity on the Stake platform. The screenshot that hit the network quickly went viral and caused heated discussions both in the gaming community and in the media.
So... @xQc “accidentally” showed the world his full betting stats on @Stake during a livestream — and when we say “stats,” we mean over $3 billion worth of wagers...

Here’s the damage:
• 1.3 million total bets
• Around 100K wins
• Over 1.2M losses
• Average bet? A… pic.twitter.com/uVrJgM5Xup
What did the statistics show?
On the xQc screen, users noticed summary statistics, from which it follows:
- The total number of bets is 1.3 million
- The number of winnings is more than 100 thousand
- Losses - about 1.2 million
- The average bet is $2594
- The total turnover is more than $3 billion
- Game Types: Slots, Table Games, Sports Betting
At the same time, there is a large bias towards losses. This immediately raised concerns among viewers: does the streamer suffer from gambling addiction?
Does he put his money?
This is where doubts begin. The fact is that xQc has long been affiliated with Stake, one of the largest crypto casinos in the world. And it has been discussed more than once in the industry that such platforms often give streamers a sponsorship balance — that is, virtual money that has nothing to do with the streamer's personal finances.
So, it is quite possible that these $3 billion are not his funds, but just part of an affiliate show, in which there are no real risks for xQc.
What is all this for then?
xQc is one of the top 5 streamers in the world, with an audience of more than 12 million people. His contract with the Kick platform (affiliated with Stake) is estimated at $70-100 million.
And indeed: after the "leak" of statistics, a wave of discussions broke out on social networks and the media. Everyone is talking about Stake, everyone is discussing xQc, and the platform gets tons of attention without advertising costs.
So is it a well-thought-out move? It is very possible. In an age where attention is the main currency, even "random" shots can be carefully planned.

celese Haha, classic! First they screwed over the players, then the license turned out to be fake, and now they’re trying to undo everything. A total circus. Yeah, everything will just get bought. They’ll pay whoever they need in Curaçao and get a new license. Money rules everything, especially in this industry.

Mangarin4ik The section about how casinos fire VPNs is a gun. I've never thought about WebRTC and the time zone. Author, thank you, you may have just saved my next deposit.

Is 2594 bucks average rate? And then people wonder why he doesn't play the usual games.
I wonder how you can lose a million times and not go crazy.
If I were him, I would also spin like a bad person for such money.
Betting is evil. But xQc is handsome, he knows how to hype.
3 billion??? This is the budget of a small state!
Yes, it's all sponsor's money, I don't believe that he puts his own.
