The fact that there was work both inside and outside of the casino contributed to its confusion. Although the restrooms were clean, they felt claustrophobic inside and were around a corner.
You might assume that Nanaimo would make an effort to keep up with the casino upgrades of its larger sister down the coast, especially in light of the opening of Elements Victoria, but that is not the case. This location is extremely dim, grimy, packed with the same old slot machines, and has very few table games.
charming small casino. The area is quite small, and several machinery have been squeezed in there. Payouts are typical. Something to do if you want to waste some money and are bored. Someone was undoubtedly performing better than I was.
