South Beach Casino & Resort Review
Situated within the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Reserve, South Beach Casino & Resort is an eco-friendly hotel offering rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi, a buffet-style restaurant and two pools.
All accommodation comes with flat-screen TV, coffeemaker and minifridge. Upgraded rooms have a Keurig coffee machine and an iPod dock. Suites have a seating area. Some offer a spa tub.
Free parking, free internet in public areas and a 24-hour business centre are provided. This art-deco property’s casino is open for 24-hours on a weekend and until late on weekdays.
In addition to Mango’s restaurant, this unpretentious resort hotel has a casual coffee shop. Country and classic-rock bands often play at The Blue Dolphin Lounge on an evening.
From South Beach Casino & Resort, Patricia Beach Provincial Park is 5.1 miles, Brokenhead Wetland Interpretive Trail is 5.9 miles, and the Marine Museum of Manitoba is 22 miles.

Along with the biosphere sphere, it is one of the only surviving buildings,a gift from our French cousins. We must admit that the building is beautiful and that it has aged well. What we did with it is a whole different story.
One of the largest game offerings on the east coast. 1 cent machines and $ 10 tables. One of the best cuisine in the province.
Lots of choice in the various machines and tables. Not being very knowledgeable in matters of Casino, I am however not very objective. To compare with what I saw in Végas, I found this one a little less creepy, on the other hand the drinks are very expensive!!!! But if you want to spend an evening with friends, it's no worse, you will certainly have fun! (Unless you lose too much money :))
I was invited by some friends to spend a different evening at this casino hotel about an hour's drive north from Winnipeg. The property is located in the middle of nowhere and is run by "Indians". It amazes how clean everything is, from the hotel to the casino. We dined with an excellent seafood buffet dinner (they do it every Thursday) which also served crab and lobster as well as salmon, prawns, scallop and so on. cost of dinner less than 20 cd per person !!!!! After a satisfying session in the casino (many slots, one working roulette, one black jack table) we stopped to sleep. Spacious, very clean room, simple but functional furniture, good bathroom, lots of silence, in short, nothing exceptional but if you want to make a game episode different from the others, this is the right place: then if you want a 15-minute drive you will arrive at Lake Winnipeg, in south beach, one of the most beautiful lakeside beaches in the world!
