Valve Accused of Running Illegal Gambling: High-Profile Loot Box Lawsuit in New York
Belgium and the Netherlands banned this system at the legislative level years ago. Strange that the US is only waking up now. Valve will either have to radically change drop mechanics for the American market (like they did with the X-ray scanner in France) or pay insane fines.
