Dare Devil Mode is pure madness. Fewer lanes, extreme multipliers, and almost no margin for error. This mode doesn’t feel designed for long play sessions. It feels designed for moments of reckless confidence, where logic takes a back seat and adrenaline takes over.

Each mode feels distinct, and I appreciate that none of them pretend to be balanced. The game is very honest about what it is offering: risk, clearly labelled and unapologetic.

What makes Chicken+ stand out for me is how strongly it plays with emotion rather than spectacle. There are moments where I cash out early and feel relieved, even if the win is small. Other times, I push one lane further, lose everything, and immediately replay the moment in my head, convinced I should have stopped.

The lack of animations actually works in the game’s favour. There’s nothing to blame but myself. No feature “robbed” me, no volatility excuse to hide behind. The game gives me a choice, and I live with it.
