You simply select your total bet. This is between €0.10 and a maximum of €100. There are 10 paylines, so for example €100 is €10 per payline. There are also three separate betting options, the Hi Roller feature. We will come back to that later in this Joker Strike review.
As we have become accustomed to from Quickspin, winning combinations in the basic game do not yield very much. The best paying symbol is (of course) the joker. This cheerful, smiling friend is not a joker (wild) for all other symbols, but will give you a nice 1,000 times the bet per payline. In other words: per payline you catch 100 times your total bet if you spin five jokers. That's €10,000 if you play with the maximum bet.
Without features, Joker Strike mainly yields a lot of small prizes. That's because all other symbols, except for the joker, don't pay that much. For example, five times the Wild symbol will give you 30 times your total bet. A screen full of Wild symbols would net you 300 times your stake. The other symbols (a 7, star, bell and playing card symbols) pay even less nicely.
Joker Strike Feature
We already saw this feature in Second Strike. For those who have not yet played Second Strike, we will explain it anyway. Every time you win, a light will run along on a bar around the game screen. Kind of like those pesky funfair vending machines. Even now the light has to stop exactly in the right place. The correct spot is a light next to the winning symbols
The symbols with which you have formed one (or more) winning combination(s) will then appear above your screen. You get 10 extra symbols on a winning combination of five symbols, 8 extra symbols on a winning combination of four symbols and 6 extra symbols on a winning combination of three symbols.
For example: you spin five Jokers in a row and the light stops at the right place on the bar. Ten extra jokers are then placed on your screen. That makes Joker Strike interesting. A screen full of jokers will give you 1,000 times your stake.
Hi Roller Game
There is a special button next to the spin button: the Hi Roller button. You then have the choice of three flavours:
€20 for 5 spins with guaranteed Wild symbols. Every spin you get one guaranteed Wild symbol.
€30 for 5 spins with a guaranteed Wild symbol and two extra slots with Wilds during the “strike”.
