The wild symbol
A typically pixelated symbol with the multi-coloured word 'Wild' serves as the wild symbol, which can substitute for all other symbols in the game.
Since there is no real scatter symbol, all other symbols are replaced without exception.
Free Spins
At the beginning of each game, you choose one of the eight possible fighters to fight with. Each fighter comes with its own feature:
Dhalsim – places 3 to 4 random wild symbols
E.Honda - places 3 wild symbols on a reel
Ryu - places 3 wild symbols in a row
Guile - places 2 vertical stacks of 2 wild symbols
Zangief - places 2 horizontal stacks of 2 wild symbols
Chun Li – randomly places 2 or 7 wild symbols
Blanka – places 1 or 5 wild symbols on a reel
Ken - places 1 or 5 wild symbols in a row
Each of your fighters has a wild meter that increases whenever a fighter symbol is involved in a winning group. When the wild meter reaches 7, the respective feature is triggered.
You trigger the Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Free Spins when your chosen fighter emerges victorious from a fight. Winners and losers are determined by wins in the slot. Whenever your fighter symbol is involved in wins, damage is dealt to the opposing fighter and vice versa. If your fighter manages to reduce the opponent's health bar to zero, the 'Beat the Boss Free Spins' start.
The free spins work like the base game, except your opponent is one of four bosses. If you beat the first boss, you go up a level. Ideally, you'll beat all four bosses along with their multipliers and earn a 100x multiplier for your strength.
If you get beaten by a boss, you have the chance to get an extra life with the 'Coin Slot Gamble Game' once per free spins round. For this you have to bet part of your winnings and hope that the coin is kind to you.
