Aviamasters 2

This is still very much a crash-style game at heart, but it now leans more into strategy and decision-making rather than pure reaction speed.

Developed by BGaming, Aviamasters 2 keeps the simple “plane in the sky” concept, but layers it with boosters, guaranteed landing options, and interface customisation that genuinely changes how each round plays out.

At its core, Aviamasters 2 works exactly how I expect a crash-style game to behave. I start a round, the plane takes off, and it follows a randomized flight path. Along the way, it can collect multipliers that increase my round balance - or hit rockets that drag the plane down and reduce momentum.

The goal is straightforward: let the plane fly as long as possible and hope it lands safely on solid ground rather than crashing into the water. If it lands successfully, I win whatever balance has accumulated. If it doesn’t, the round ends with nothing.

What sets Aviamasters 2 apart is how much more control I have over the experience compared to the original.

During every flight, multipliers such as +1, +2, +5, +10 and ×2, ×3, ×4, ×5 appear along the route. Hitting them boosts the Counter Balance, which I can see updating in real time above the plane.

Rockets are the main threat. When the plane hits one, the Counter Balance is divided by two, and the plane loses altitude. A few poorly timed rockets can quickly turn a promising round into a guaranteed splashdown.

I also liked the on-screen progress dashboard, which tracks altitude, distance travelled, and total multipliers. It makes the randomness easier to follow and helps me decide whether to keep watching or mentally prepare for a crash.

One of the biggest upgrades in Aviamasters 2 is the introduction of four Booster symbols, each changing how a round unfolds:

• Magnet – pulls nearby multipliers toward the plane
• Laser Gun – clears obstacles along the flight path
• Nitro – boosts speed and altitude gain
• Life Buoy – adds an extra layer of safety if things go wrong

These boosters don’t turn the game into a standard payouts, but they definitely reduce the feeling of helplessness that crash games sometimes have. I found myself paying more attention to timing and balance instead of just watching numbers tick up.

For players who prefer lower risk, Aviamasters 2 introduces Safe Landing mode. By paying 50× the stake, I can guarantee that the plane will land safely every round, even if it ends up over water.

This mode completely changes the tone of the game. It shifts Aviamasters 2 from a pure risk-based experience into something closer to controlled grinding. The trade-off is obvious - higher entry cost for reduced volatility - but I can see this being attractive for bankroll-focused players.

A feature I didn’t expect to care about, but ended up liking, is the customisable Spin button. I can move it anywhere on the screen, adjust its size, and even change opacity. It’s a small quality-of-life addition, but it makes longer sessions more comfortable.

The game also allows four different speed settings, which I appreciated. Sometimes I want to watch the full flight play out; other times I just want fast results.

Aviamasters 2 is clearly designed as a medium-to-high volatility game, depending on how aggressively you play and whether you use Safe Landing mode. The maximum win is capped at 1,000×, which is modest compared to some crash games, but still meaningful.

This isn’t a game about chasing extreme outliers. For me, it’s more about managing risk, choosing when to play safe, and understanding how boosters influence outcomes.
