This is the third entry in NetEnt’s Rabid Randy series, and if you’ve seen the earlier games, you’ll know subtlety isn’t really the point. The visuals are dark, slightly unsettling, and deliberately uncomfortable. Personally, I wouldn’t call it pleasant to look at, but I will say it’s unmistakably its own thing, which already puts it ahead of a lot of generic releases.

This sequel shifts the action to a fishing setup, but it doesn’t suddenly turn Randy into a lovable outdoorsman. The tone is still grim, the atmosphere still aggressive, and the whole thing feels intentionally abrasive. Mechanically though, I found it to be one of the more approachable entries in the series, especially compared to how intimidating it might look at first glance.
