Fantasma Games Joins EveryMatrix: What it Means for the Gaming Industry and Players
EveryMatrix has officially acquired Fantasma Games in a move that has generated significant buzz in the gaming world.
The acquisition process kicked off on September 18th when EveryMatrix made a public offer of 18.5 million euros for all shares of Fantasma Games. By the close of the acceptance period on October 10th, 2024, an overwhelming 95.2% of Fantasma’s shareholders had approved the deal, well surpassing the 90% threshold required to move forward.
Ebbe Groes, Group CEO and Co-Founder of EveryMatrix, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition:
"We're thrilled to announce the completion of this deal. It’s yet another M&A fully funded through our own cash flow, thanks to our rapid organic growth. We see tremendous synergy and opportunity ahead!"
Groes also highlighted Fantasma’s reputation for producing some of the best-performing and most engaging games in the industry. He praised their impressive production capabilities and the exceptional management team, noting how their work has consistently generated excellent financial results. "Together, we’re confident we can achieve even more as a combined force," he said.
EveryMatrix, known for its SlotMatrix platform, which aggregates over 29,000 games from 350+ third-party studios, sees this acquisition as a way to further strengthen its offerings. Fantasma’s portfolio, which is already integrated with major operators like Betsson, LeoVegas, and BetMGM, will help EveryMatrix expand into key markets, including North America.
Fredrik Johansson, CEO and Founder of Fantasma Games, echoed these sentiments, expressing pride in Fantasma’s journey so far and excitement for the future with EveryMatrix. He emphasized their shared commitment to innovation and the potential to develop new, groundbreaking game concepts.
“This partnership brings tremendous potential,” Johansson said. “We’re confident we can elevate our existing games and develop new standards for the industry.”
While this acquisition may be seen as a win for the gaming industry, players should keep in mind that behind every game lies important details like the Return to Player (RTP) percentage. If you're playing games developed by Fantasma or any other company under EveryMatrix, it’s crucial to check the RTP every time. A large company may be eager to recoup its investments, which could lead to lower-than-expected returns for players if you don’t stay informed.
StevenTheSpirited Fuck these live casinos! Regular slots are more reliable, at least you know that a robot is having you, and not some jerk in a bow tie.
CrazyDaniel Got them! Betiton, as always, their games are rigged. Feels like every spin is a direct path to losing. Don’t fall for their promos, folks.
deborahturner7r Finally, someone is taking action! Gambling ads are everywhere, and it’s about time we put a stop to this targeting of young people. Protecting youth should be the priority.
thomasjones0q Glad to hear this! 94% RTP means we still have a decent chance at winning. Hope they keep it this way for as long as possible!
MaryTheSerene Man, this is disappointing. Snoop used to be about the music, not pushing gambling onto people. Guess everyone’s got a price these days!
JosephMark You have to come up with something like that. Although after reading the article I felt a bit sad... Maybe poker would be better?

JosephTheMad Lost $3,000 there... When I won 5,000, the “verifications” started. They stalled me for a month, then blocked my account. Scammers!
AnthonyTheMad I love the idea of prize drops, but I’ve never won anything from these promotions. Seems more like a marketing gimmick to me!

LauraTheGenuine What the hell?! I've been playing at BetGRW for the last three months, and they were scamming me out of my money! Never going there again!
This is a big move, but it’s a reminder that players need to be cautious. EveryMatrix and Fantasma are huge now, and they’ll want to make their money back. Always check the RTP to make sure the odds are in your favor!
I love Fantasma’s games, but with this acquisition, I’m worried the focus will shift more towards profit than player experience. RTP is everything, so I’ll definitely be checking before I hit 'spin'!
Another big merger in the gaming world—great for business, but what does it mean for us as players? I bet we’ll need to be more vigilant about checking RTPs from now on. Don’t just jump into these games without knowing your odds!
The news is exciting for the gaming industry, but I can't help thinking about how much these big companies want to earn back their investments. I’m going to be keeping a close eye on the RTPs to make sure I’m not getting shortchanged!
While I'm excited to see what new games come from this deal, I'm also cautious. Big companies always seem focused on profits, so checking the RTP for every game is going to be a must.
