IGT to Launch Cloud-Based Games and Solutions for Atlantic Lottery
Company to Deploy RGS and Digital Instant Games
IGT Global Solutions and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation have extended their partnership with a new five-year contract to introduce cloud-based games and features for players in Atlantic Canada.
Under the agreement, IGT will deploy its advanced cloud-based remote game server (RGS) and provide at least 16 digital instant games annually. This partnership will allow the Atlantic Lottery to access IGT’s extensive portfolio of digital instant games and content, which includes omnichannel games, licensed content, and progressive jackpot games. The RGS platform also offers cross-channel branding for both retail and digital channels, supports a variety of jackpot and prize pool configurations, includes numerous bonusing tools to enhance player engagement, and is built for optimal performance and scalability.
"As the largest digital instant market in Canada, Atlantic Lottery is pleased to partner with IGT to offer our players dynamic digital instant games from IGT’s comprehensive content portfolio," said Robert LaLonde, the lottery’s iGaming Director. "Additionally, the scalability of IGT’s cloud-based RGS will enable us to modify our digital instants library in real-time, providing our players with best-in-class experiences and continually enhancing our iGaming offerings."
IGT and Atlantic Lottery Extend Partnership
This cloud-based initiative marks the latest development in the long-standing collaboration between IGT and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. IGT already operates over 6,000 video lottery terminals across the four provinces of Atlantic Canada using its advanced lottery central system, INTELLIGEN.
"Partnering with the Atlantic Lottery to deliver IGT’s cloud-based RGS and engaging digital instant games is an exciting opportunity for our iLottery business," said Srini Nedunuri, IGT Senior Vice President, Global iLottery. "We look forward to helping the Atlantic Lottery further grow its business and reach new players in the region with our reliable RGS technology and top-performing iLottery games."
Conclusion
While the integration of advanced gaming technologies like IGT’s cloud-based RGS and digital instant games promises a more engaging and dynamic experience for lottery players in Atlantic Canada, it is important to approach lottery play with caution. Despite the excitement and entertainment value that these games offer, the odds of winning significant prizes are extremely low. Lotteries are designed as a form of entertainment, not a reliable way to achieve financial gains. Players should be aware of the minimal chances of winning and participate responsibly, keeping in mind that lottery games are ultimately a gamble and should not be relied upon as a source of income.
DeborahTheMarvellous I'm really impressed with WinSpirit's new VIP program! The tournaments sound exciting, and it's great to see a casino actually listening to what their players want. Can't wait to see what they have planned next.
Parkerroberts This is a perfect example of why self-exclusion programs exist. They’re there to help people stay away from gambling. Trying to bypass them not only defeats the purpose but can lead to serious trouble like this.
Donaldbetty It's concerning to see such young individuals involved in large-scale cyber attacks. This shows the importance of investing in cybersecurity education and preventive measures from a young age. Hopefully, the authorities can get to the bottom of this and prevent future incidents.
HarrisJennifer3 Whoa whoa!
JasonTheDynamic The graphics are top-notch.
DonaldTheXtraordinary Wow, Jonathan Tamayo's win is incredible! But I totally agree with the conclusion. Poker requires so much skill and dedication. I’ve seen too many friends lose big trying to chase these rare wins. Slots are definitely more my speed – simple and fun!
HelenTheLoyal Wow, what an incredible win for Monica Bouma! It's true that the odds of hitting such a jackpot are insanely low, but it’s stories like these that keep people coming back. Congrats to her, though I'll stick to my smaller bingo games for fun.
HelenTheAmbitious It's great to see that Ontario is cracking down on unregulated gaming sites, but lowering the RTP to 85% feels like a sneaky way to take more from players. Regulation should mean better protection, not just more ways for the house to win.
CrazyDaniel Well, what can I say, guys, here's your trust for you. Instead of 96%, now it's 94% RTP.
ParkerSusan7 It's really disappointing to see someone with Drake's influence promoting gambling like this. Young fans might follow his lead without realizing the risks involved.
BarbaraTheYouthful Just another fantasy for the poor... No one really wins like that.
WilliamTheTenacious These new slots of yours are just another way to squeeze the last penny out of players' pockets. So where is the innovation here? Just beautifully drawn pictures and promises of big wins.
SandraTheXtraordinary Excited to see Wazdan's games coming to Fitzdares, but the reduced RTP is a bit concerning. Hope the gameplay still stays fun and rewarding!
CharlesTheLuminous Excited to see ODDSworks expanding in Ontario! Their games are top-notch, but I hope the lower RTP doesn't make it too hard to win.
RuthTheXtraordinary I can't believe how generous Nolimit City is with this tournament! 500 free spins and an iPhone 15 Plus for the winner? Count me in!
While the new digital instant games from IGT might enhance the lottery experience, it's important to stay realistic about your chances of winning. Lotteries are more about having a bit of fun and maybe supporting local causes, not a strategy for financial success.
IGT's new cloud-based features sound impressive, but players should be cautious. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement, but always remember that the chances of hitting the jackpot are very low. Play responsibly and enjoy the games without expecting to win big.
It's fascinating to see the advancements in gaming technology, but it's also crucial to remember that playing the lottery should be for fun. The odds of winning are incredibly slim, so it's best to treat it as entertainment rather than a way to make money.
