Illegal Activities of Kokobet Online Casino in the Netherlands
The Association of Responsible Affiliates of the Netherlands (KVA) has published a detailed investigation into the online casino Kokobet, which, as it turned out, operates without a licence from the Dutch regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA).
According to a report published on the official KVA website, the casino continues to accept players from the Netherlands and allows you to top up your balance through ING, ABN-Amro and Rabobank – without conducting identity verification, age verification and not using the CRUKS self-exclusion system, which is mandatory for all licensed operators.
Registration at Kokobet takes less than two minutes, and the minimum deposit is only €20. However, users face numerous problems when trying to withdraw funds. According to KVA, the minimum withdrawal amount is €40, with a €20 fee, and verification is requested only at this stage.
It is separately noted that the operator offers cashback bonuses, which are prohibited in the Netherlands, and does not provide information about safe play. In addition, players' personal data is stored in Costa Rica, which violates European data protection regulations (GDPR).
The investigation also found that Kokobet is owned by a company called "3-1O2-897762 LTDA", registered in Costa Rica. The same firm operates a number of other online casinos, including New Lucky Casino, Starzino, Spinybet, ChachaBet, and Ucobet.
The KVA encourages players to avoid registering with Kokobet and similar operators without a KSA license, and also recommends checking for the CRUKS system and other mandatory protection measures before starting to play.
I’ve come across this site before. The interface looks like a legit European casino, but in reality, it’s a scam hole.
Would be great if the KSA actually started blocking access to these sites instead of just giving warnings.
A €20 withdrawal fee? That’s just a joke!
Same old story — they promise “fair winnings,” but in the end, you can’t withdraw your money. I got burned by Starzino too — same thing.
