Stake.us Under Fire: Missouri Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Casino, Drake and Adin Ross
Missouri Class Action Lawsuit: Stake.us Accused of Illegal Gambling
In the United States, a new class action lawsuit has been filed against the gambling platform Stake.us. Missouri resident Justin Killham appealed to the District Court of Jackson County, accusing Sweepsteaks Limited (operator of Stake.us), as well as the famous rapper Drake and popular streamer Adin Ross in the organisation of illegal iGaming activities.
According to the plaintiff, the Stake.us platform, which positions itself as a sweepstake casino (a casino with bets in the form of social "drawings"), is actually a clone of the main Stake.com website. It is alleged that this scheme was created specifically to circumvent the direct ban on the activities of online casinos operating in the state of Missouri.
The role of Drake and Adin Ross
Rapper Drake and streamer Adin Ross are co-defendants in the lawsuit. They are accused of actively promoting an illegal operator. They are alleged to have promoted "Stake.us" on their social media and during live broadcasts.
The key point of the accusation is that during these advertising streams, the gameplay was not carried out with the personal funds of celebrities, but with large balances provided to them by the platform itself.
Plaintiff Justin Killham demands that the court oblige the defendants to return all the money lost by Missouri residents on the Stake.us platform over the past five years. In addition, the lawsuit includes demands for fines and a complete ban on the operator's activities in the state.
Pfff, lawsuit.
I drained 5k bucks there... I'm from Missouri. Will I get my money back??! Where to write? Guys, who knows??
Write to your psychiatrist
Drake doesn't give a about this lawsuit. He's got enough money to buy this Missouri. They will pay off and that's it.
Well, in general, it was expected. Stake.us has always looked like a murky scheme. "Social casino", yes. Just a way to circumvent the law.
HAHAHA, the devils have finished playing! I've always said that Ross and Drake play for candy wrappers! They spin a million bucks per stream, and you sit and drain your $100. I hope they will be used to the fullest.
