Toronto's Great Canadian Casino Resort opens this season
A significant announcement has been made by Great Canadian Entertainment in light of the upcoming summer 2023 opening of Canada's largest casino resort. The largest land-based casino operator announced that the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, a brand-new entertainment complex costing CA$1 billion, will be built near the crossroads of Highways 401 and 427.
With over 25 gaming, entertainment, and hospitality locations across Canada, CGE is one of the biggest gaming and hospitality operators in the country. CGE was founded back in 1982. It has operations in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. The 400-room hotel, 5000-seat live concert venue, new parkade, and other components of its Toronto project will debut this summer.
Coming This Summer, the 33-acre Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto will wow with its cutting-edge design. The new location will be near to Woodbine Racetrack and will have a high-end casino in the Las Vegas style, along with a 400-room hotel, a 5,000-seat live entertainment facility, and a number of eating attractions, all of which will breathe new life into Toronto.
The gambling operator also stated in its news release that its currently operational Casino Woodbine in the region will continue operations uninterrupted until the new CA$1 billion resort opens. The new establishment is scheduled to open its doors for business in the summer of 2023, and the industry pioneer in gaming announced that it will announce an official opening date.
The project, according to the operator's CEO Matthew Anfinson, would combine the best of gaming, live entertainment, eating, and lodging into one innovative experience that will be introduced for the first time in the nation. In the upcoming weeks, the business will also announce the opening date for the Toronto facility, he continued.
Furthermore, the new property's services, along with those of GCE's other casinos in the province, will include the well-known Great Canadian Rewards program, which made its Ontario debut in August 2022. While booking hotel stays at GCE resorts, its members enjoy the greatest prices in addition to receiving exclusive discounts and benefits including comp dollars that can be used at participating leisure centres.

Improving Ontario's Offerings
At its Pickering Casino Resort, Great Canadian Entertainment has opened a hotel to the public. The casino resort's new hospitality section, which debuted in July 2021, has approximately 275 luxury hotel rooms ranging in size from 388 square feet to 775 square feet. There are also 22 accessible rooms and 33 elegant, large suites with separate living areas.
The top casino operator began offering retail sports betting at 10 of its facilities in Ontario in the fall of 2022. While the other four opened specialized Great Canadian Sportsbooks, six of its venues introduced the product through sports betting kiosks.
KevinTheGracious Reducing RTP is a huge red flag for any casino. Players should be able to trust that the games are fair and follow the developer's standards. Thanks for the warning—I’ll avoid Coins Game Casino from now on.
JohnTheDazzling It’s about time Merkur made some big changes. Their slots have felt outdated for years. Let’s hope this new leadership can finally bring some fresh ideas to the table and give us a game worth playing!
andersonPatricia Bonkku has broken all the patterns! 27k on euros is not money, it's SPACE! Who else can do that? I'm shocked, honestly. Someday I'll win like that, I'm sure!)
ChristopherTheSerene What a review! So many new games, it's making my mouth water! "Tanked" especially caught my attention - post-apocalyptic in a slot, it's just fire
EdwardsPatricia2 Come on, Bonanza is really the best, it has saved my bank many times. If it weren't for it, I would have been sitting in the red for a long time. But the music is already boring, it's really annoying, I always turn it off.
CunningHawk People have so much free time - to lose at the casino, watch streams and go to work to earn money for the casino. Amazing.
LisaTheTrustworthy Fallsview is total crap! I was there, queues everywhere, the staff is rude. And the prices in the restaurant are just outrageous! I don't recommend it to anyone.
lopezGarcia I don’t trust anyone!
rodriguezAllen Proof or not)
RichardTheOptimistic Century top!
CharlesThomas No surprise here—gambling keeps breaking records because it’s everywhere now. From online casinos to sports betting, it feels like everyone’s cashing in except the players!
dorothycarter4t It’s always the same story—big money talks, and everyone else suffers. Gambling ads flood every sporting event, and now the government can’t even agree on basic reforms? Disappointing but not surprising.
BettyTheBrilliant While the levy is a step in the right direction for tackling gambling harms, we need to make sure operators don’t just pass the cost onto players by lowering RTPs. It should be a win-win for both the industry and consumers.
AdamsJennifer Finally, a use for all those meme coins I bought on a whim! Turning them into USDT and hitting the slots at BitStarz sounds like a win-win to me.
HelenTheKindhearted 4Kasino and Betcoin seem to keep up the standards, but Sportaza and Dream.Bet in the blacklist? These scammers are at it again.
