FIFA’s Official Prediction Markets Partner Goes Live in the U.S.
Prediction platform ADI Predictstreet, which was named an official FIFA partner for the 2026 World Cup, has finally opened access to users in the U.S. The launch came just days before the tournament kicks off and was carried out through Fanatics Markets.
The service is available to residents of 23 states. A dedicated World Cup Hub was created for the tournament, where users can buy and sell contracts on various championship events. The platform supports both cryptocurrency and traditional fiat payments.
The company’s own history raises just as many questions as its unexpected appearance alongside FIFA. ADI received a prediction markets operator licence in Gibraltar, and, according to media reports, the approval was issued just nine days after the business was registered.
The project’s ownership structure has drawn additional attention. According to previously published information, the company’s controlling stake belongs to representatives of Abu Dhabi’s ruling dynasty.
As a result, FIFA has effectively entrusted its first official partnership in the prediction markets segment not to market leaders, but to a new player that gained access to one of the world’s biggest sporting events before it had built broad recognition in the industry.
