License for BC.Game in Anjouan was issued by a non-existent company
The title sponsor of the Leicester City football club in the 2024/25 season was at the centre of a high-profile scandal. As Josimar Football journalists found out, the betting company BC.Game operates under a licence that has been granted to... a non-existent company.
Last year, BC.Game operated under a licence from Curaçao. But everything changed after the brand's parent company, Small House BV, was declared bankrupt. After that, the operator decided to change jurisdiction. The choice fell on Anjouan, one of the Comoro Island territories, where there is a highly controversial licensing regime.
And this is where the fun begins. According to the documents, the licence in Anjouan BC.Game was issued through a certain Twocent Technology Limited, allegedly registered in Belize. But when journalists decided to check the company, strange facts surfaced.
Firstly, the Financial Services Commission of Belize officially stated that there is no company with this name in their register. Secondly, Open Corporates – the largest international database of corporate data – also has no trace of Twocent Technology Limited.
The website of this "company" does not give any leads: there is no legal address, contact phone number or other information. Only mail, which, as you might guess, no one answers. Reporters tried to contact Twocent, but their letter went unanswered.
In addition, Josimar Football sent a request to Leicester City itself to find out how the club agreed to work with the brand, which, apparently, is registered through a "ghost firm". Questions also concerned whether Leicester plans to continue cooperation with BC.Game. So far, no comment has been received from the club.
However, this whole story is just a struggle between casinos and states. As for the players, so far in BC.Game there were no problems with either RTP or payouts, so there is no reason to panic or "leave" the casino if you play there.
Why be surprised? In Belize, Panama and Comoros, half of the gambling market works.
Apparently, competitors are trying to sink them, but they do not sink
As if the license decides something...
Well, the classic is that half of the gray bookmakers have such a scheme. The main thing is that they give money for sponsorship, and then at least the grass does not grow.
