Joanne Bortoluss reported that the police were summoned to the scene after receiving reports of gunshots around 5 a.m. Michael Ferdinand, an employee of the recently opened casino, was discovered at the location with gunshot wounds and subsequently transported to a trauma center in the Toronto area. Sadly, his injuries proved fatal, and an investigation is currently underway.
