Zen card counting system in blackjack
Counting cards gives you an advantage over the dealer in blackjack. This makes it the only casino game in which the player can beat the bank with certain skills. This is made possible by the fact that cards that have been played are out of the game and are no longer available in the next round. By counting the cards played, you get an overview of which cards are still in the deck.
The Zen Count is a balanced, multi-level counting system in blackjack. The Zen Count is similar to the HiLo card counting system but a bit more complicated because it has multiple levels. You assign different positive and negative numbers to the card values and count them continuously from the beginning of the shuffle.
The following cards are assigned a corresponding value
-
2, 3, 7+1
-
4, 5, 6 +2
-
10 -2
-
ace – 1
-
All other 0
If several decks of cards are used, the running count must be divided by the number of remaining decks of cards to obtain the true count. Depending on how high the true count is, you place the corresponding bet. If the True Count is 1 or less, you only bet the minimum bet. With a true count of +2 you bet two units and so on.
