Stake.us in California is under attack: four more game studios left the operator

The pressure on Stake.us sweepstake casino keeps growing in California state pushing most game providers to leave the market. According to CasinoBeats, four more companies have made their games unavailable to the operator's California users. This time, Booming Games (24 games removed), Fat Panda (17 games), Just Slots (6 games) and Live88 (4 live games) have stopped cooperating.

This exodus is a continuation of an earlier trend: taking into account recent losses, the total number of studios that have terminated their partnership with the operator in California has reached twelve. Earlier, industry giants such as Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Playtech, NoLimitCity, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, and NetEnt left the platform.

The reason for the departure of the partners was the hostile legal environment. Los Angeles authorities have initiated legal action against Stake.us, and the state senate has approved AB 831, a bill aimed at banning the sweepstakes casino business model entirely. Now, for the law to come into force, it is required to be approved by the Assembly and signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.

Bottom line for players: At the moment, California customers have Stake.us lost access to almost half of the slot library (867 out of 1861 unavailable) and most of the live games (18 out of 30).
